Any tips on QSDP

i have just booked the first week of our holiday at CSR and paid for QSDP. We have not had this before so looking for a few tips and answers.

So as far as I can see we will get, for 2 adults for our 7 nights:-

2 self service meals each day (28 in total for both of us)
1 alcoholic or non alcoholic drink per meal (28 total)
2 snacks each per day (28 total)
1 refillable mug each

These credits will be added to our MB on check in and we can use them any day from check in on the Friday to when we check out the following Friday.

From what I have read it seems better if we choose an alcoholic drink to get more benefit from the cost of the plan. So I was planning to use it the meal choice for lunch and dinner mainly. The drink has to be taken at the same time of getting your meal?


Also does anyone know if you can swap the drink for say a side if you don't want a drink?

Correct.

Typically this is only allowed at the resort QS locations since the refillable mugs can be used for the drink instead. YMMV

Yes if you have a refillable mug it does seem a waste to have a drink as well on the plan.
