I find the JetBlue website very user- UN friendly- Perhaps I am too used to SW. Any tips on how to navigate it? I can never find any cheap flights, and the only way to navigate seems to be to advance day by day. Am I missing an easier viewing of the fares, like on SW Flexible calendars?

I use kayak.com to search for the best fares. That's one of the best things about JetBlue -- they make their airfares available through major airfare search engines.

I really like the jetblue setup. It is faster to use then SWA. When you get to the main page don't you see the " where to " and " where from " areas? You just click those ,tell it the dates and how many are flying - boom your done.

It's much better then it was months ago.

Of course I see where to put in dates, etc, but when it gives you only high fares, and you're flexible and would like to see what other dates might have cheaper flights, you have to either choose other specific dates, or advance day by day. On SW, if you click on the "Dates flexible? See our shortcut to low fares" you can look at their monthly calendars and see exactly which days have cheapest fares available, and select that way. I was hoping there might be something similar on JetBlue's site, and I just wasn't seeing it.

If you have flexible dates you could try itasoftware.com. They have an option to check a month long period of fares to look for the cheapest flight if your dates are flexible. I do know that Jet Blue and the major carriers are there...I'm not sure about other carriers.

As for airline websites in general - Southwest is either the only, or one of VERY few, individual airline sites that have that "dates flexible" search.

Thanks for posting that link. I saved it as a favorite and tried using it :)
