I tried reserving it on our last trip, with no luck.

Here we are planning our next trip and still no availability for breakfast on 8/26or 8/27. Im seriously wondering, is it ever available, or am I wasting my time?

Many open up a couple of weeks before the trip since people finalize their schedule and ADRs so I would not stop checking several times a day. I don't think it's impossible. I managed our kind of last minute trip last september during Free Dining with all hard to get ADRs by checking religiously. Good luck! :goodvibes

Also search by time, not meal. I've had better luck with openings showing up if I put down 7am (so it searches through 9am) than if I just select "breakfast".

We've also had luck with a later breakfast (9:35), we always tried to get early reservations so we could get good pictures in the park without a lot of visitors but so does everyone else.

Just keep trying, you still have time, people always cancel last minute.

Do keep trying. We're flying out on the 21st of August and we booked late. I did not get a ressie for Tusker until last week. I was shocked it opened up but it certainly did! I even got CRT for the 26th.
And it seems I had better luck calling. BTW, my ressie is for the 25th of August. I'm sure you will get something.
A friend of mine says to keep trying until the last minute. And even if you don't get, show up. She's been to WDW a few times so I tend to believe she knows what she's saying. If push comes to shove, this is what I'll have to do to get O'hana for breakfast during my trip because DD 12 really wants to dine with 626.

Keep trying! I got Tusker House for last week of September during free dining on my 180 day mark back in March. I wanted to change times back in May and found zero availability. So it's definitely a popular one but you never know when it will pop up!

Not like this is going to totally make your situation better, but we have an ADR for 4 at tusker house for Friday August 26 for an early breakfast. We have full intentions on using it at this point, but we honestly have no idea how my ds3 is going to react to the characters. We have a dinner at the garden grill earlier in that week and if he isn't into the characters we will cancel the tusker house. You can message me your email and I will keep in touch while there if you'd like. I know it's not the solution to your problem, but much stranger things have happened...

I've been trying for Wed Sept 28th for over 110 days, several times a day.

That or 1900 Park Fare Dinner.

I'm starting to think its just not going to happen :sad1:

Thanks All, Im going to keep trying. I have tried for 7,8,9,10,11, on both days, but still no luck. I even called to try, but nothing yet. =(

I thought about trying AKL to ask them if they would attach that dining request to our ressie, but figured it wouldnt help. Although last time we stayed at Coronado, I mentioned to the CM when we checked in that we were had been trying to get the Crystal Palace for breakfast with no luck. She said she would call us if something popped up, and sure enough, she called us the next day...so I guess stranger things have happened =)

but not impossible. Usually, you see trip cancellations around the 45 day mark; because, it's when final payment is due. That's the best time to snag a last minute reservation for a meal. After that point it's harder.

You can try a walk up; you never know; unless, you try. There can be a few people who decide to sleep in and skip the meal that day. Maybe, they were up too late the night before or maybe someone got sick and so forth. It's a gamble, but if you are there anyway; try it.

Right now, if you want the place more than anything take an early lunch. At least you'll be able to eat there. If a breakfast reservation comes along as you look each day, then you can cancel your lunch time one and get the breakfast time.

I have been able to snag a few tough reservations last minute, but you really have to be deligent about looking and looking. I was trying like 4 times a day and did it for over a wekk , but I got one. Good luck.

What's such a bummer is I know so many people that dont keep their ressies, but dont cancel either =( Last trip I tried and tried for Crystal Palace breakfast. Never was able to get it online, but a CM called us one morning and said there was an opening and we went...when we got there and throughout our entire meal, the place was less than half full. I hate missing out, due to unfulfilled ressies, ya know?
