Any tips for Ipod Touch

Howdy everyone. I've been considering getting an Ipod Touch, and I got enough money today from Christmas that if I wanted to get one, I can. The thing is, besides what is listed on the website, I don't know much about it. So, I come here asking for any tips on it, your likes/dislikes on the Ipod touch, ect. What I am really curious about is how the internet part works. Thanks so much for any help!

I, unexpectedly, got an itouch for Christmas today. So far I love it! The only thing I've found that I don't like is that it's difficult to type without hitting other letters. If it was my only mode of being on the internet that would drive me crazy! I also think I will eventually drive myself crazy keeping it clean. I hate finger prints on things I haven't learned everything about it but I have checked my email (very easy), searched a few things online (very easy and easy to view), used the "Maps" function which gives you turn by turn directions to wherever you put in with a map, and when I registered it to my iTunes account it automatically downloaded all of the songs and artwork from the artists albums (very quick and easy). My boyfriend has had one for about 6 months and he loves it! I would have never have thought to buy myself one but I'm quickly falling in love!

And to use the internet you just touch the Safari "button" and then you select what search engine you want to use like google, yahoo, etc. There's a separate "button" for email (you enter your user id and password once and then it automatically signs you in every time you touch the Mail "button"). Obviously you have to be somewhere that has wi-fi. All of the regular websites I visit are a a consolidated version on the itouch but it's very organized.

I have my iTouch for over a year and I love it.

You can purchase a film that goes over the screen to keep the screen free of scratches. I would also suggest that you take apple's extended warranty (the battery on my iTouch went bad and apple replaced the iTouch, while I was in the store several other people had the same problem). I don't know if the newer model has the same problem.

Those are the exact same things that drive me crazy! Other then that, I love it!!
