Hey y'all!
We leave in 15 days and I was wondering if you had any tips for babies at Disney! She's 6 months old and last Dec I was pg with her at Disney! We also have a nearly 4 year old.

Any tips/tricks that I should know about? Are there fridges in the baby care centers?

Thanks everyone!

Read up on the rider-switch (baby-swap) procedures for rides you really want to do.

Take a look at your park maps before heading to the park and know where all the baby care centers are located, there is one in each park. They include a small kitchen to heat up food/bottles (microwave), private bathrooms and nursing mother's rooms. I don't think they have refrigerators where you can store items. They do sell items but they can be pricey.

We had taken our 2 month old and I had used an infant carrier. It was OK at first, but by the afternoon my back was killing me. So I think it would be good to use in a limited fashion, like for slow moving rides (SSE, POTC, IASW) to keep the baby stablized. I guess this really depends how heavy your baby is.

Took my little guy when he was almost 6 mos and his 4 yr old sister. Loved having my Hotsling. You can't bring strollers in lines or in Epcot's pavillions so it came in very useful. Baby centers were great!

We took afternoon breaks for naps.

We had diapers and wipes and other baby items delivered to the resort along with snacks for the 4 yr old.

We used our Ergo carriers with our 11 month olds a lot when we were there. Very helpful, and much easier to deal with than a stroller if we knew we were going to do rides. The stroller was useful if we were doing a lot of walking around without riding anything.

My DD was almost 8 months last year (I was pregnant with her on our first trip!). The Ergo carrier was a lifesaver. I was BFing, so I just fed her whenever she needed to eat, and she napped in the carrier as she wanted to. She was also on solids 2x a day, so I brought some jarred food with us as well as puffs and sippy cups for water.

A hat is a good thing to bring in case it gets sunny.

I took her -- in the Ergo -- on most rides. I'd take her out for the shows if she wasn't sleeping. I let her get down where I could -- in line for the princesses, before our dinner reservations at 1900 PF in the lobby of the GF, etc. Just to give her a sense of a little freedom. My older DD was 4 last year & she used the stroller most of the days, but sometimes we'd kick her out to give my back a break. The baby was happier on me though.

The baby care centers were never nearby when I could have used them ... but we survived just fine without them!!

Take extra clothes (even an extra shirt for you) and lots of wipes, just in case! We had a few blowout diapers on our first few days there.

Don't forget to bring some infant tylenol just in case -- never know when teething pain will pop up at that age!

It was a blast. She loved the characters, napped easily on me (though for short spurts), had fun on the rides. She LOVED Small World. Seeing her face light up when she saw all those "babies" was just priceless!!! HAVE FUN!
