Any Ticket Price Increase Coming Soon?

Hi! Just wondering if I missed something. Planning for next March. Wasn't it about this time last year that they raised the prices -at least for the AP? Thanks

Price increases are never announced more than two or three days beforehand.

If I book a package now for fall 2017 - those prices are locked in, then right? So even if the price increases, we would be paying current prices? What happens if I modify the dates or try to add a discount code (like free dining?)

Thanks!

1 & 2. If you get a confirmed finalized deal, then yes.

3. That can (but may not) "reset" your deal to the (then) current rates.

I've seen rumors that the AP merchandise discount is going back up to 20% on Oct. 1st, making my DH wonder if prices are going up soon.

disney was quoted in orlando sentinel that changes to the AP is coming. I'm guessing october again, probably in the next 2 weeks as it hinted on some perks including something with aps and the ticketed parties in 2016..

Hmm, as in I should get my party tickets for Mvmcp for mid Nov before the changes take place? We have an AP we bought a couple weeks ago, that we will activate when we get there on Nov 12th. Plan to go to the party on 11/15. Your post is making me wonder if I better grab our Xmas party tickets asap. I doubt, buy any chance I should wait as it might be a good something to get some sort of perk? And do they ever up the price on party tickets after prices have already been set and advertised and people have bought at the prices they had set out?

My son's AP just ran out. Does this mean we need to quick renew? Or are better changes coming?

DOH!!!! :headache::mad: We were just there Sept 17-22 and bought new AP's AND a new TIW card. Happy for the rest of ya'll but NOT happy over our sucky timing.

That stinks!

It EXTRA doubly sucks because our NEXT trip literally starts on January 3rd!! We could have used parksaver.com tix for this last trip and saved buying the AP's for January 3rd!! THEN we could have planned yet another trip for January 2018!!! I am beyond irritated right now that Disney can't announce anything at all ahead of time so that people can PLAN right.

I wonder if the increase will happen tomorrow.

While anything is possible, the way ticket price increases have worked for years is that the increase is announced 2 days prior to implementation.

Typically, the increase is announced on a Friday, with the actual date of the new prices happening on Sunday, 2 days later.

Not sure if this is an indicator or not, but I am planning a trip bringing my school choir for April. When looking at the Disney Performaing Arts ticket prices posted, there is a significant price hike from 2016 to 2017.

I feel your pain. I haven't had the best luck planning with buying or not buying APs myself . But that is because we have had to change our trip dates not because of any offers or discounts from Disney.
