Any thumbs up/down for Blackbeards Stingrays or Stingray City Adventure?

Hello all.
First time cruiser here 2/27/05 Wonder, and I am wondering if its worth it to get off the ship in Nassau.

I have been reading posts, and the Dolphin Swim sounds great, but also sounds as though it will sell out fast! I am wondering as a second choice, if anyone has done the Stingray City Adventure or the Blackbeard Stingray deal....

we just did the nassau stingray black beard thing over new years and I was disappointed. the brochure said what 5 to 5 1/2 hours...well we weren't even on the island for 3 hours. the rays are all de stingered and in an enclosed netted area. you get to feed them fish which was the only exciting thing.. that lasted about maybe 10 minutes top. the food was either a burger, a hot dog or chicken sandwhich.. food stunk .. servers were unfriendly or didn't speak well english.. the so called "fresh water showers" well the water smelled soooo bad we couldn't even stay in it to was the salt water off. the bathroom was big. very dirty and half the toilets no one bothered to flush.

of course this is just my opinion !!!

Thank you! I wont bother!!! I know the brochures and web pages hype it up, but I wanted the truth!

I am sure this is one excursion I'd rather pass!!!

I'll go shopping or enjoy the ship instead!! Thank you for your honesty!
