Any thoughts on Cabin 6556?

It's located right by the middle elevators and what look like stairs.

The stair and middle-of-everything location would seem nice, but I'm not sure about the noise due to traffic for the stairs and elevators. Do the rooms have air conditioners so I can make some "white noise" to combat traffic noise, or is the ship central air?

Hello! We were in 6550 and LOVED it!! We requested for our next cruise as it is so close to everything. It is close to the elevators/stairs but we enjoyed not having to walk ALL the way down the halls. Not your number but we enjoyed the area. Hope this helps

Hi! We were actually in 6556 on the Wonder on 1/30/05. Loved the room, close to everything, no probs with noise. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions

We were in 6556 and it was great. Excellent location and the only noise problem we had were the unattended teenagers in the cabin next door. After a couple of late night complaints their dad finally read them the riot act and I think they split up the group and had an adult staying with them. It appeared that they had 2 rooms - one next to us and the other on deck 8. After the kids got out of control they had a parent staying with them - none of them were happy about it. But it took care of our noise problem!

Another thumbs up for 6556! We had it on our last cruise and we loved it so much we booked the same room for our next cruise in 2006. We loved walking right out the door, down the steps to the kids club. Very convenient at night when they fell asleep and we had to carry them back to the room!
