Hi,

I was hoping you might be able to provide some suggestions as to how much money to budget for food.

My and my fiancee will be going for three weeks, from the UK. I've been before, but my mother has always paid...so I'm not sure how much to budget for the two of us.

I thought about $50 a day? But I''m not sure, taking into account TS restaurants..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I was thinking about the DDP, but haven't been on it before. Its part of the reason why I'm trying to figure out how much it may cost not being on the DPP...see which would work out cheaper for us.

Looking at the Virgin Atlantic website (who we would be travelling with) the basic DDP would cost us £525.00 (approx ($1100) for three weeks, and the Deluxe DDP would cost us £903 (approx $2000) for three weeks...Each of those prices are per person!

Hi, we're leaving from the UK TODAY:banana: for two weeks, and we are bringing £1000 for food for the two of us. To be honest with all the snacks we have lined up I am starting to panic its not enough!!! We usually have two table service (usually only eating one course, two at most), and then one counter service a day if we need it. We don't do DDP becase we like to eat off-site sometimes, but I can see where its good value for money (though Virgin do charge more than most places sadly!)

I think you would be safe to budget say $10 light breakfast, $15 CS/lunch and $25-35 TS/dinner. This would bring you in the range of $50 - 60 per day per person. This is whay DDP can be a good deal at $38 per day. Of course, there is great variable in TS pricing as you could spend more, but I think this would be a good budget place to start. You will be there 3 weeks, so you could pace yourself and choose your TS wisely and adjust around that. There are so many great places to eat at WDW, you'll be able to experience a lot of them. Enjoy.

So, if I budgeted $60 each per day, for 21 days, that would be $1260 each...approximately £630 each...

It would be cheaper then to do the basic DDP....

Has anyone got any recommendations as to whether to not use the DPP, use the basic DDP or the deluze DPP??

Thanks for your help guys
