Any suggestions on buying a custom signet ring?

Ok- you guys are the best shoppers anywhere. DH and his brother have long talked about getting matching tatoos of the family crest. They are now thinking maybe signet rings instead. They're available, but pricey. Just thought I would check and see if anyone had any places they suggest we start looking.

Interesting. When I purchased a custom signet ring for DSis, I purchased a plain gold signet ring from a local jeweller. Then I asked DSis to confirm the design she wanted engraved on the ring with an engraver, and had it engraved.
