We will be going in June and will have a 12 dd and 15 ds and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what rides and activities they may enjoyt he most. DD has been once when she was 6 and ds has never been neither has dh so its a first time for them . I just want to try to make the trip as fun for the kids as possible.

The whole park of MGM Studios is good for teens. There they have the ever popular Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller coaster, a whole bunch of shows, and alot of cool places to eat and shop. Down Town Disney also has a bunch of teen stuff, shops, no rides, and resturaunts. Magic Kingdom has a few teen-friendly things, but mostly kiddy things, but if you have park-hoppers, you should stop by. It is just so magical, and you might want to ride the mountains. At Epcot, there is alot of walking involved, but alot of neat seanery, and three rides. Animal kingdom is just like a bug zoo, with setions devoted to Africa, Asia, Dinosaurs etc. They do have a few cool rides, including Dinosaur. My family has not been there for so longg, because we only have limited amounts of vacation time, and to us, it is not worth it.
I hope this helped, and have fun.

You may get more replies if you post this on the Theme Park strategies board. My teens like everything except the real kiddie rides. They love MGM and MK but was not so fussy about AK. Basically all the bigger rides like SM, TM, TOW, RnR, there was enough to do at most parks but I have to say at this age, most kids also love Universal/IOA if you don't mind doing both places.

Our 3 teen ds love the water parks and disney quest at downtown disney. They also have done fishing trips, parasailing and the horseback rides. All these are not cheap and take a chunk out of your budget. This time I am thinking of going to the comedy club or adventurers club at pleasure island. I also let them each pick out 1 meal of their choice, little ds picks out rainforest, middle ds and oldest one prefer espn zone at the boardwalk. You could also consider minigolf at either of the 2 locations and renting a bike together. Their favorite park also is probably mgm. Oldest ds is now really into who wants to be a millionaire. If you plan well you will have a great time.

I agree, my teen loves MGM, but has never outgrown the MK (me either...) Animal Kingdom is so-so. :earseek:

They will have a great time! Just make sure you wake up early so they can get on their favorite rides without much of a wait. I'd also recommend going to Blizzard Beach which is awesome for swimming and some really fun water slides. I also enjoy some less thrilling rides that some teens might like- the voyage of the little mermaid show, beauty and the beast show, peter pan's flight, etc. Have them look at the guidebooks to get a feel for what they might like!
