Your SUBJECT line says "good camcorder" (well, COMcorder, actually :goodvibes ).

But when I opened your post you said, "inexpensive camcorder".

I can tell you some GOOD ones, but I'd stay away from the INEXPENSIVE ones.

BTW, "inexpensive" can mean a lot of different things... how much are you willing to spend?

Why don't you do a search on the Photo Board? You might want to ask your question over there also.

we got a digital camrecorder at wallgreens for $90.00 its an aiptex its a 5 megapixal still cam and it works great and its cheap so if you loose it its not that big a deal we got it at waalgreens near publlix past prime desing out let mall

As alluded to earlier: There are good camcorders, and there are inexpensive camcorders. It is a very competitive market, so the best price you can get for a specific camcorder model is a pretty good indicator of the quality of that camcorder. A $200 camcorder will give you $200 worth of quality; a $500 camcorder will give you $500 worth of quality; a $1000 camcorder will give you $1000 worth of quality.

What is your price-range? What would you consider the lowest threshold for "good"? Knowing that, we might be able to recommend a model that qualifies, or let you know there isn't one.

well, let see.......i think i want to spend about $400 at the most. I just need it for basic stuff but i want the quality to be good.

In that price-range, I can recommend my camcorder:
sony-dcr-hc32-177x150.gif

It is highly rated, and has great optics. I had a great time with it in January. (I even put some VCDs of some of the video I took on my personal website... see the link in my signature.)

Thank you for the advice i actually decided to go with the SC-D365 from samsung. I am still learning how to operate the camera but i took it to church yesterday and it worked pretty well. I love it so far. I got some good images of my husband and baby.
