Any suggestions for New Year’s Eve?

Greetings nerds. Thinking about doing New Year’s Eve in the world this year with my wife and our two teenage kids. Any suggestions for activities or special events?? Thanks!

EPCOT!!!!!!!!! 100%. We did MK on the 30th and EPCOT on NYE and it was hands down, one of the best experiences of my life! Have fun!

MK does their NYE fireworks on both 12/30 and 12/31, 6:30pm and 11:50pm both nights.

Epcot only does theirs on 12/31.

That’s why you’ll see many people recommend MK on 12/30 and Epcot on 12/31.

Both are very (extremely) crowded, but really fun.

My family of four, kids 23 and 19, opted to stay away from the parks on NYE. I booked a 8 pm ressie at the Boathouse and told the
waitress that we were going to stay through the new year. She paced our dinner perfectly, we had drinks, food, drinks, and then about
11:30 pm, they started giving out hats and blowers. We paid, left our table and went to the bar area and had a really perfect night.
There were many people in DTD but not enough where it was a madhouse and just the right amount of people at the Boathouse.
We were staying in THVs in SS so that helped us choosing where we wanted to spend NYE since it was just going to be a walk/boatride
back to our place.

I think the first thing you need to do is decide if you want to be in a park and then work from there. I almost chose us to be in a park and
if I didn't choose DTD, it would have been Epcot.

To provide relief from the masses we booked the Fireworks Dessert Party for NYE last year at MK. Best decision we have ever made! If you choose MK for NYE it is a crazy madhouse. Epcot has much more room and is more manageable. There are special parties around WDW for NYE but they do get incredibly expensive.

It's the only way to see both parks NYE fireworks since MK does there's on the 30th as well.

And imo, nothing beats Epcot for NYE. From the fireworks, the atmosphere, drinks (if you partake), and parties in certain countries
