I've got one - my daughter. We're 4 weeks away from the "day" and she's quickly moving into "bride-zilla" mode.

One minute, she's in tears:sad: , and then she calls me to tell me that everything's fine now....at which point I tell her that in a few weeks it will all be over, and she'll be laying by a pool in Jamaica.

....and then I'll GO BACK TO WORK!!!! I think I'm the ONE who needs a vacation to the Caribbean!!!!::yes::

...and to think, I've got three more daughters to go!

Hi, I am a bride to be but I am not stressed out at all. I really don't let too many things get to me.

--When is your D's wedding?

--Where is she getting married?

--What is she planning to wear, colors etc.

We are having a beach wedding and reception out of town.
I am wearing the Madison by Maggie Sottero. My colors are periwinkle, purple, blue, green and mauve.

We are having a very small wedding because the first one was a fairy tale and this time I just want a moment to breath while the best day of my life is happening.

We are going to Disney for the honeymoon and the best part is it is free because my parents have a timeshare:bounce:

If you are stressed just think happy thoughts. THink how great it will be when all the frustration of planning is over and you can just relax and know your little girl is happy:bounce:

I am a stressed out Bridesmaid-does that count? ;) :p

Only because my 3 year old is the flower girl in SIL's wedding and so are DH and I. I am just concerned about her behavior. Probably more than SIL. I just don't want her to be a distraction. But I think we have a plan so I feel a little bit better. :)

I am a Bride to be but I am not stressed either!

We are getting married on the beach in St. Thomas and my wedding coordinator down there is handling everything. I don't really have colors, as I am just going with the bridal tropical bouquet... my matron of honor is wearing a pale yellow!!!

I can't wait. The only stress is money... :) Just getting it all paid for!!

Congrats for your daughter!

Oh and i need to lose weight. My bridal slip/petticoat thingy doesn't fit because I am too fat! I bought it a size too small so I could motivate myself... don't worry if I fail I can return it for the smaller size!!

I am recently married, but I wasn't stressed out either.
I think it's because I had so long to plan, and I had the attitude that, as long as I'm married by the end of the day, it was a good day!
Of course things will go wrong on your wedding day, no wedding is ever "perfect" no matter how hard you try.

Our videographer didn't show up.
My flower girl didn't make it down the aisle
My dress was too big

But we still had a GREAT time, and I loved every minute of it. And at the end of the day, I was married to the man that I love, so therefore, it was a sucess!
Actually, we were pretty laid back about everything, and everyone told us they had a great time. But then again I'm almost 30 as well, sometimes I think age has a lot to do with it.

Hopefully your daughter will calm down soon.
I used to work in the Bridal industry, and I have seen many a "bridezilla" and stressed out bride, but they usually get better on the day of the wedding.

My best wishes for a great day!

Lisa

...in answer to an earlier question:

She's getting married in South Bend, Indiana on July 17th. It will be a traditional Catholic wedding. Her colors are Aqua and Pale Pink/Dark Rose/Cream.

It's going to be big - close to 400 guests.

July 17th is a good day. My parents will celebrate their 45th anniversary that day. Best wishes to your daughter!

July 17th is also my parents anniversery. They will be married for 39 years.
