It's funny you brought this up since we think the Mac and Cheese in the US period is yucky! Your Mac and Cheese is much different than ours here in Canada - your version is sooooooo mushy! My daughter likes Kraft Mac and Cheese occasionally, but when she first saw what WDW and most other US restaurants serve, she said a hearty "No, thank you!" and she wasn't even 2 yet, so she definitely could tell the difference! It totally makes sense if it's Stouffers why it's so mushy, but I see lots of kids refuse to eat it, yet I see lots of kids who enjoy it!
As for LTT, we were not impressed at all. The food was very prepared (out of box) and the character interaction was not the greatest at all. They tried to go in some type of order, but it seems difficult based on the configuration of the restaurant, especially with foyer in middle as kids just run across to see the characters while they are waiting to be seated. LTT is not on our list this year, and it probably won't be again, unless my daughter really wants to see the characters, but that's no big deal either since she doens't understand the historical signifance of their costumes anyway, and this actually confused here a bit-LOL!!
Wasn't a big hit for us and we've been to practically all WDW sit down restaurants. Good luck with your family as you may really enjoy the food and atmosphere, but there are better character buffets on property than this one for our family.
Happy eating, Tiger
