i am told by my cm that i cannot have illumination, but that's fine. i understand that it will be too crowd.
therefore, i am now trying to think of something else
any suggestion?

I don't know why you can't have Illuminations...It certainly isn't because of your guest count, as they have areas that have 100 person minimiums. Perhaps there was a miscommunication about the Illuminations party or perhaps it is because of your date, as they do not offer during the Christmas holidays.

Do youmean you can't have an illuminations cruise? This is true, the pontoon boats will only seat about 10 people...I don't think their is a boat for our sized group that you can use to view Illuminations.

You could, however, have an Illuminations dessert party, which would be held in one of the World Showcase terraces, depending on your group size. I think that's what Kismet was talking about. Ask your EM about it, or you can also contact Epcot Events Services (is that the name of it?) directly. Good luck!

I guess the question to your EM becomes then, what will they let you do on Dec. 23:

- fastasmic viewing area for your guests?

- pontoon boats for Illuminations?

- pontoon boats for Wishes?

- WISHES viewing area at GF marina for your guests?

- CA Grill private room? You can seem Illuminations from the room and WIshes from the viewing deck

What's the type of experience you are looking for?

Maybe you can do an after hours reception at the osbourne lights - that would be fantastic!!!
