A friend is going to Disney for the first time July 26-July 29 and is JUST now making her reservations…can you believe it??? Anyway, does anyone know of any special public discount codes or packages that might be available for her? She wants to stay at the Wilderness Lodge for 3 nights.

Summertime Savings of up to 40% at Select Disney Resort Hotels

Now you can save up to 40% at select Disney Resort hotels through October 2, 2010.

For example, stay in a standard room at select Disney Value Resorts most Sunday to Thursday nights for just:

* $102 per night plus tax from June 4 through July 1 and July 5 through August 14, 2010.
* $58 per night plus tax from August 15 through September 30, 2010.

It may not be too late for a White Rabbit... see the "support group for pinless people thread" That is when we are going and staying at WL too!

Basically if she is new to Disney have her create an account with an email address, regular address and last name Disney has never seen before. Use a computer that has not visited the Disney website before under a nother login name. create a few itineraries under "my vacation", say you need lodging and select the WL lodge at the bottom of the itinerary then save some vacation packages. Sign up for an account at Disneydestinations.com. I received my 40% off pin a few days later.
