Any special promos for horror nights?

Going in October for two nights because we want to take advantage of Horror Nights. Does anyone know if any packages that combined room rates and horror nights tickets existed in the past? I want to book soon but do you think that it is better to wait for some promos? Thanks

i have gone for quite a few years for hhn.

the packages will not be out until the summer.

i booked my room in early january but will modify it when rates change.
some hotels on site fill up 2 months before the events.

the halloween packages vary, some include room, tickets, etc.
it will be advertised with the hhn promo later in the summer.

nothing will be advertised this far out.
i found it was cheaper to book everything separately

the packages i have looked at were not to my advantage financially.
it is better to book separate. some years they add things to it that you wouldn't be planning on. pictures is one thing they had 2 years ago.

the gory weekend package might be good but it depends on what the price of it will be this time around.

you can get a room discount with AAA or AP..
you can get a discount on your hhn tickets if you have bought the multi day pass to the parks.

you do not get discounts on the package just because it is halloween horror nights.
the last two years i stayed at the hrh and the hotel was full on 2 out of the 4 nights i was there. friday/saturday was sold out in advance. in fact, they over sold the rooms on the friday night.

i always go the second weekend of the month. the first time i went i went the first weekend. this year i am staying at rph as it is a lot cheaper for me on a 4 night stay. the hotels sell out quickly once hhn is advertised.

i always book my room between january to march. if i deal comes up or the rates drop on the aaa, i call and modify my ressie.

hhn has become so popular, people come from all over for the hard ticket event. they don't have to do specials to pack the parks.

i always buy the epp/hhn tickets in advance

I will keep an eye out for the hhn tickets so we can buy those right away. Do you think we should wait until hhn tickets come out to buy the regular theme park tickets?

don't know where you live but i live in the chicago area. the AAa membership cost is higher here than other places. i pay $54 a year for the membership.

with it my room w/aaa discount is $183.20 at rph for oct. 6-10 /per night that is. without it, the room would be $259 + per night. i have the gold loew card and get the upgrade free.

just for the room, i come out ahead after paying the fees for aaa membership.
booking your room now is good. you can call and modify.
in fact, you can call them back and tell them to apply the aaa rate to your ressie. if they ask for the number, tell them you ordered aaa and don't have your card yet but will when you are at the hotel. that is what i did the first time i used the aaa discount.

you will see threads on hhn when the tickets go on sale.
i bought mine end of july last year on the day they went on sale.

buy the 2 day 2 park get 3 more days free for $99 on line.
you will not beat this price. get it now. we never know when special promos are pulled. i was told it ends july 31 for the sale, but who knows what will happen, if it gets extended or is pulled is anyones guess right now.

i go to the parks in the day time friday-tuesday. do the hhn on friday/saturday/sunday evenings.
when it gets closer to the time, i will tell you about the stay and scream area and the epp system which is a must imo.

i totally and completely love hhn. the last 2 years i have gone solo to it.
going solo again for this year to universal and hhn

Thank you so much macraven. We will be staying at RPR Oct 7th- Oct 10th. Maybe I'll see you. It's my birthday week and we will be coming off 7 nights at disney. My DH and I will have to take turns going because of DD and DS. My husband is freaked about leaving them at the kids clubs. So we will both be going solo as well. I'm more freaked about having to face hhn alone. No really it sounds like a blast.
