Any solo WDW travelers have this problem at home?

Anyone travel often and comfortably solo at WDW, but not at home? DH travels for business a lot, so I find myself eating meals solo often. Although I've been traveling solo to WDW for over 10 years, and eaten lots of solo meals there, both CS and TS, I found myself reluctant to go to a restaraunt solo at home. And although I know a few people who go to movies by themselves, to me it seems odd. Why do I think that? Lots of people probably think it's odd that I ride Dumbo solo! I'm reluctant to travel anywhere solo around home. Anyone else have this problem ?

When I travel on business I'll dine out alone, but I've only ever done it once at home and that was a week day lunch. I don't know for sure it's a comfort level thing though. I think in general if I have the opportunity I would rather be at home, so I will get take out from some of my favorite places. But at WDW I know if I don't plan a sit down meal most days I won't slow down.

I eat out quite often by myself. I just take a book or my Nook and read while I'm eating. I don't do movies at all so I can't answer to that one at all. But I don't mind doing most things alone.

I go to movies all the time by myself!! Especially after Oscar noms have been announced :thumbsup2 Have never ever found it awkward or weird :confused3 I'll sometimes go to lunch by myself if it's a casual eatery like Jason's deli or someplace like that, but usually I like eating in the comfort of my own home. I enjoy cooking, so I'd rather have a homecooked meal, I guess!

Actually, neither do I, but I heard that "Finding Nemo" is coming out in 3D at the end of June. I'm trying to get up the nerve to go see it by myself since no one else around here wants to see it.

I don't go out alone when I'm at home either! I have no problem going solo at Disney or going out to eat when I'm on business trips alone, but home? Not so much.
