Any Single Young Adult Males?

I haven't been on the board in a while, and taking a moment to catch up...

I'm Matt, 21, from the Chicago area, and go to school in Pittsburgh. I am a total Disney Fanatic, and the only place I get my hair cut is on Main St. USA.

I'm leaving for my next trip in a little over 8 hours. I'll be there from Aug 7-11. And probably be back in October and December.

Have fun! Where in Pittsburgh do you go to school? I'm from near Pittsburgh :)

Thanks Everyone! So far everything is going great! It feels nice to be back 'home'. :woohoo:

Have fun! I saw your signature and you said you have been a solo traveler since 18, me too!!!

Cool! There were times that my parents would leave me at WDW for a few days when I was 16 and 17 as well, but I don't consider them true solo trips.

I am going to Carnegie Mellon, and I am studying Lighting Design & Technical Direction. I will be starting my senior year in just 2 weeks. By the way, I enjoyed watching your Vlog's.

Figured I'd speak up. Mentally... and definately at heart, i'm still very much a young guy. :cool1:

Chronologically... sadly I just bumped over the 30 mark not too long ago.
:scared1:

As someone who rounds up to 30 (currently 27), I have to say 30 is still young. :goodvibes

I feel like I'm stuck in the middle when it comes to Single Disney fans. Everyone seems to be in their early to mid 20's or well over 40 (not that age really matters to me but it seems to matter to many that I've "met"). I'm 31...single...and looking...even if it's just to make some new Disney Fanatic friends my age. ;)

Just like me. im 30 so like you sit in nomans land when it comes to disney dating.

Totally agree. I'm 27, and the closer to 30 you get, the smaller the Disney dating pool seems to get. I've been noticing that on disdates. We could use some late 20s through mid to late 30s on there. :flower3: Come on over y'all! :goodvibes

33M here, may be on the wrong side of 'young', but definitely young at heart! I have lived in many parts of the country, and currently on a jet plane somewhere, traveling on work and dreaming of Disney!

Good luck to everyone in finding their Minnie's and Mickey's

I'm a 27 year old Disney fan, still looking for my Belle....

Well, I dunno about Belle, but I would make one awesome Cindy. :thumbsup2

21 from the cajun country--Lake Charles, Louisiana. My day job is putting out fires and rescuing cats from trees, my side job is a business I started I train other emergency responders how to do the job, and how to do it better/safer. Been going to WDW since I was a little kid (still a kid at heart though!) I also work for the sheriff department when I find the time; so getting away to disney every now and then helps keep me from going crazy(ier).

I bet you have the most adorable accent. By the way, do you really rescue cats from trees? I heard that firefighters are not supposed to do that anymore?

Your screenname has me so curious. Come back and explain how you are "too tall." By the way, 30 is the new 25, dontcha know? So, you're good.

Just kidding! I made that up. :rotfl:

I'm brand new to these boards. I'm 24/m from Canada. I'm going to be in Disney for the first time ever this August. I arrive on the 29th.

Shawn, you need to come back to the chat rooms so we can talk some more!

Oooooh, where from? Does work have you travel a lot? Ever travel to (cough, cough) Indiana?

Got stuck with the nickname of "TooTall" probably about 15-17yrs ago. Somehow my 20'something friends when I was a young teen didn't think it was normal for a kid to be as tall or taller than they were. :rotfl:

I finally topped out around 6'6". Sadly.... now I don't fit in things... like certain cars, or Space mountain.... :sad1:

Kinda like the boys in Mary Poppins taller than their mother?

6'6 is a good height, I think. Unless you don't fit into things.....

Space mountain since they went to the T-bar, My legs are so long that the T-bar only touches (and holds me in) by my inner thigh. That can be a bit painful. (I miss the seatbelt).

Most of the other boats/omnimovers I'm seated slightly sideways, but those rides it's doable.

Pants.... Too tall for regular stores, Too skinny for Big&Tall stores. (Emphasis there is always BIG)

And don't get me started on shower heads, ceiling fans, or some door hinges or signs. :rotfl2:

Of course, there is an advantage when at the parks when it's crowded. I can see over the sea of people, so I can see the breaks in the crowd that allow for easy movement to where I want to go.

I Never said that, just that it wasn't always the most comfortable thing. :rotfl:

I mean seriously, it's SPACE MOUNTAIN! I can get in the vehicle, so I'm going to ride it! :teeth: It's just that my days of running from the exit right back into the line for hours might be behind me.

Aww......tall guys are awesome. But, short guys if you are reading this, I ain't picky. Bring it on.

You would just love my house. It is over 100 years old and was built to accomodate people with shorter statures. We are all short, so it never bugs us, but when taller people visit, they sometimes have to duck a lot. One doorway is less than 6'! Haha.

I've run into a few of those places over the years....literally. It's almost instinctual to duck a bit going thru doors even if there is plenty of clearance.
