Welcome Guiness....never knew there was a flame suit needed for liking Universal, I like it.Love Disney and Like Universal......in fact I do LOVE Margaritaville, headed there soon too....and I can not wait!
DisneydaveCT - I live and work in Southern NH (Manchester & Nashua area). I am hoping to return to Disney next year with my two sons in the fall. Little sister has to stay home this time.
I really need to get my internet connection working at home. It would be nice to toon in every once in a while on the weekends to see what you all are chatting about. I have to agree with sandy5764; us Disney guys are hotter . Uh, good sense of humor too?
I swear, anything that could go wrong at work today went worse than wrong. I drove by the bank on the way home and the temp was 105. My house is so old I can only have one window unit. I walk in the door and my kids are fighting over a 3 yr old Happy Meal toy?????????
I have to tell myself ...15 more days...15 more days. People make a fuss over the heat in Florida in August but I'd soooooo much rather be hot there than here. Calgon take me awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
Since it's supposed to reach 100°F (38°C) with "real feel" temperatures from 105-110°F (40.5-43.5°C) in the Philadelphia region today, I guess I'm pretty hot. I've had the whacked-out sense of humor for most of my life.
Not everyone up north is prepared for such high temps.. it's not "normal" here... so many don't have air conditioning. It's very dangerous especially for the disabled and homeless... we have several deaths when temps reach this high here. People don't know to stay hydrated... or they are unable to care for themselves and nobody thinks to check on them.
So up here it's not just a "few days of hot weather".. in many cases it is life threatening.
