I was a single gay disney guy. I'm not living with my partner though. He's been to disney but only once.

I'm trying to convince him that we need to go again.

An earlier post mentioned Dismates. I had not heard of that.

I had been working on a site of my own (now stillborn and likely to stay that way) called Singleriders.com. Not a dating site more a resource for the single traveller and single disney adventurest.

It's not really true . There are people here from Canada, England, North, South, East, West Central and everywhere inbetween .

Oh, I don't know. I am a single guy. I like to go with friends who have small children - they get so excited. I've invited a friend whose chidren are 5 and 11 for my May trip. My September (Labor day week) trip, I am going single but I've invited friends with small children again for the xmas trip. Somehow, there are just rides that I won't go by myself but I will with small children. As I said, they get so excited!

Hi Gary! I am planning a special Labor Day trip this year to celebrate my older daughter's 16th birthday. We'll also be back in December. I have never been with really young children, but hope to get a chance to go with my nephews soon.

lol, i went with my 3 nieces (3, 9, 11) over xmas and it was their first time there, and it was a lot of fun bc they were so excited and so in "awe". but it would be nice to go with just another adult again and have an adult time, lol. (as in adult time acting like kids, but not having to watch any kids, lol! ) but i really meant it is so hard to schedule trips to wdw with my friends bc they have their kid's schedules to work around (school, soccer, gymnastics, hockey, custody weekends, etc etc etc) so it becomes a very big project. i'd like to meet a nice disney guy where we can just take off and head to the world whenever we would like not too much to ask for, i don't think lol

DWM 47 in central Va. I am a definite 10 on the scale. If I wasnt going to be alone soon (when DS heads off to college) I would be buying into DVC. I have about given up on the dating scene. Done Match.com and eharmony (which is real ebaloney in my book) neither one is worth a thing. I have a trip booked for the 2 nd and 3 rd week of august with 17 yo DS. Would love to hear from anyone else going at that time.

Gosh, John, it sounds like the perfect time to buy DVC to me. Now you can head down "home" whenever you want! Seriously, I bought a small contract resale after my divorce and it's been one of the best investements I've ever made. Happy to go into more details with you if you're interested.

Sorry, not going to be there when you are in August, I'll be at a conference in NC. Have a great time though. Last bash before your son heads off to college, huh?

Well I guess I'm going to add to this thread!!! 28 F Chicago area, divorced 2 daughters 7 and 9, addicted to Disney! I can't seem to find anyone who loves Disney even half as much as I do. All my friends think I am nuts.
Going back to WDW Oct. 20-30 The 22-26 DVC member cruise and the other days are SSR. Considering a trip for labor day weekend. Also going for Dec. 27-Jan. 5
