Mousefest is an annual event that starts with a Disney cruise and then continues on land. There are different things that people can do with different people that write Disney books (ie the Hidden Mickey book, the Unoffical Travel Guide ~ding!~ ), people like Deb Wills, Mike Scopa.... best is to give you a link to the event and you can read up

I went over to the DL meet up thread (1/2 ton) and I had read it once before a few weeks ago!! They get there the day before I leave so hopefully we can sneek in a meet! I'll be in DL with another friend from the boards!

It is fun from what I have heard. I havent really participated in any of the activities before, just met up with friends. I am looking forward to it this time. Though some will be around to hang out with... maybe some monorail bar hopping and JRs. Just an increase in crowds all for the love of Mickey

Just so I know you are reading me right, this is NEXT year, not this year!! Hope I didn't confuse anyone. It's gonna take me all this year to pay off a 14 day trip! But atleast it will be paid in full before we leave!!

We leave Thanksgiving night and then we are at the world until December 7, then cruising from the 7-11.

Used to post on the singles threads, then life got in the way, but I am back!!

Any single Disney guys ever make it over to the Land? First WDW trip isn't till next year when I will be enjoying 9 glorious nights at the BWV, then a 4 day cruise!! Cannot wait!!

Yeah, I know, it's a LONG ways away!! My 4 or 5 DL trips will have to comfort me till then!! But I am still so excited that I can spend a glorious 14 days for my first trip to the World. I figured if I was gonna do it, we should do it right!!

Another single Disney loving guy... in my 40's.

Loved the World as a kid, but stopped going when I hit college. When I hit the work-world, I started traveling again. As a single guy who likes traveling, I'm at the mercy of a few things when it comes to friends and travel:
- They need to agree on a destination.
- They need to have the time to go.
- They need to have the money to go.

What I found out was that there are lots of folks who want to spend their hard earned money and vacation time at Disney. Over the years, as I planned vacations, I found that more than half the time, Disney came up. A lot of times, I didn't have much choice- if I wanted to go on vacation with my friends, we were going to Disney. I enjoyed it anyway, but ended up REALLY loving it.

Now I go at least once a year... if I'm lucky 2 or 3 times.

Even own the Disney Trivial Pursuit and Scene It (Deluxe First Edition--don't have anyone to play the second edition with at the moment, so I can't justify buying it). One of my friends got me into it several years ago, and we've since made several trips to Disneyworld together. This is a pretty good depiction of our friendship:

We're aboard It's a Small World and decked out in our MNSSHP garb there, though. This is probably a better pic of us:

She's booking it to China, though, so now I'll be touring the World, and even sooner, the Land, solo.
