Any shortcut for not entering guest names every time?

Hello disboards!

When booking a new DVC reservation, there is no drop-down for family members or even DVC "associates" ... so you have to enter the name of every guest from "scratch" when making each reservation.

Has anyone found a way to store family member names, or am I just missing the feature?

No way to store. The only thing I ever add is the name, I leave my address in for everyone unless I am not traveling. Then I do use the lead guests address, but then everyone else in that reservation keeps that.

I also only add them later, not when booking.

The other thing I always get is the "address validation" popup just before the final booking screen. Seems like it has to do with how my ZIP code is stored (with and without the last 4 suffix in different places).

I just add me, then once booked, days later go back in and MODIFY to add all the names. Makes it quicker to book especially if do so right at 7 or 11 months when time is important.

Yep, I just book myself and later I go back and use modifying guest to add others traveling. Too time consuming doing it while booking since the dvc website is so glitchy.

I do that too! Never had a problem.

I have had an issue in the past when I have put other guests on my reservation that do not live with me, even when putting their address in. Somehow disney puts it into their database and then matches their name with my address so I get promo mail every now and then for friends who have stayed with us in DVC rooms. Once it was particularly annoying because I kept getting one of my friends annual pass communication and Disney couldn’t figure out how to stop it after numerous calls.

Just use 1 name as head name, especially if you are looking to book 2 or more rooms. You can add names later.

I just have information saved to my web browser and it auto-fills the information when I select the person or start typing their name.

Its a little wonky since Disney didn't properly tag the page but works good enough.

Would be nice if your linked family/friends from DME would populate though.

Sometimes (not necessarily DVC), it also can have to do with abbreciations for words in the address, such as Rd versus Rd. versus Road.
