Any shoes I haven't tried?

Feet are such an individual thing. Rule #1 for us is to not buy anything unless it feels very good when you try it on in the store, no rubbing, no "need to break them in" feeling. Rule#2 is don't take them to Disney unless you've put 50 miles on them. We walk 3-4 miles a day for several weeks before our trip. That gets our feet and legs ready for Disney days, and it gives all those sandals, sneakers and flip flops a few trial runs.

I spend most of the summer in Keens and in Sanuk flip flops. I was sure they'd be great for WDW until I took four-mile walks in them two days in a row. All that slapping the heel of my foot--no way,

I love the Sketchers Go Walk. So comfortable and light weight. Just got a pair of the Go Run (even though I am NOT a runner) and they have a memory foam and are also really comfortale.

Another vote for Skecher's Go Walk. LOVE THEM!!!! Light weight, breathable, washable. I wore them most of my days at Disney - no sore feet.

I'm so excited to find this thread. I'm a diehard croc's fan but even my crocs don't keep my bad feet from killing me at WDW. I read through this whole thread yesterday and promptly went to Nordstrom to check out the Olukai Ohana's. I'm worried about the straps being stretchy enough, my feet swell terribly. Anyone care to comment on that?

I bought a pair of Teva Mush flip flops and I'm going to wear them for a few days but without the arch support I'm not holding out too much hope for them to be the answer for me personally.

I also went to DSW to try on a pair of Teva Tirra's. I have found them cheaper online and am really leaning toward them since the straps are adjustable in several places.

I absolutely love Sanuk yoga map sandals. I own 2 pairs and just bought my 6 year old daughter a pair. I wore them last year at Disney with no problem. My feet never hurt at all! You can buy them through zappos

Couldn't agree more. I see a lot of questions about shoes and Sanuks are without a doubt the only shoes I take when going to WDW. Same for my wife and now we have gotten others wearing them too. Never caused a blister, if you get the right ones they look stylish with nice shorts when going out to dinner. Plus the pack great, nice and flat.

I own about five different pair. I wear one enroute to WDW and pack another. My wife is the same, I think she has more than I do.

***BE SURE to get the yoga mat style soles. You will not regret the purchase.

So far I have tried Teva Mush (kept them but they won't work for WDW as they don't help with the pain for a long period of time), Teva Tirra's (returned them, was in pain within an hour and a half) and Skecher's Go Walk Ultimates (returning today, when my feet started to swell the shoes didn't stretch which quickly led to large indentations in my feet.)

I'm not even sure what to try next. I have plantar fasciitis as well as some pre diabetic issues with swelling, sweating and tingling. I'm going to Walmart this afternoon to try to get the arch support wraps and I'll try those in my crocs since they seem to be the only thing that helps with the sweating and swelling.
