Can anyone tell me if there are any shady areas on the family beach? And if so, where they are? If there aren't any, are there umbrella's to use?
Thanks!

There are tons of umbrellas already set up and lots of Palm trees for shade. You should not have a problem...I would still suggest getting off the ship early to ensure you get an umbrella. Note...on real windy days they will not put up the umbrellas for safety reasons.

In this pic you can see all the umbrellas...they are all over the beach...you can't miss them!!

As MJ said, there are lots of umbrellas as well as some trees for shade. We got off the ship as soon as we were able to and found a terrific spot. It didn't seem to be hard to get a shady spot until later in the day - people were coming around noon and just about all of the spots in the shade were gone by then.

HTH!

My DH is the opposite of me. He needs the shade or he'll turn red as a beet. I'm constantly slathering him with suntan lotion. We always need to get an umbrella. There are so many of them that it's never been a problem.:D

Hi MARGARETMOUSE!

Can anyone tell me if there are any shady areas on the family beach?

I don't think so. The riffraff usually stay clear of Disney...

According to Conde Nest traveler, if we want shade we should stay at home, just kidding. Enjoy,

Buckaroo's Dad-

Bummer! I was really looking forward to a torrid affair right there on the family beach! Oh well, maybe next time. ;)
