Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

I have an active AP but my DD and DSIL though they bought in March still haven't activated. I called IT and i was told it could not be linked (we live 60 miles away going Saturday to activate) It had to be a pass not a voucher (now it may be different with you because they might have fixed it for current ticket sales, maybe consider buying tickets and upgrading once you arrive?)

i also asked why it wouldn't let me customize my MB but DD & DSIL could after asking me if I received the email and me saying not yet, she asked for my reservation number then told me I already had a MB (no I don't) she asked if I clicked on the customize button and I said maybe just to see if I could customize. She said that ordered it, when I clicked on it again it showed I had a grey MB . Well just checked again and I could customize.

When I called this evening they gave me the number to ticketing services and said I had to ask for the pass number. Ticketing services is closed so I'm gonna try tomorrow, I'll report back what happens!

I just booked Illuminations for Friday Sept. 20. I also chose Soarin and TT and all the times were in the evening so then I went back and changed Soarin to 9-10 a.m. and TT to 10-11am. So we can do those 1st thing in the morning, tour around leisurely til mid-afternoon, head back to BC for some swimming at SAB and then pop back over that night for Illuminations with preferred viewing. The arrival time for Illuminations is 8:35 - 8:55pm

Thanks for the link for BOG lunch FP. Just booked 11:15 and 11:20 (2 rooms) for my family. Also added 2 extra desserts for the kids since DP doesn't let kids choose a dessert.

Not sure how to do it on the app or if you can. On the site, log in, go to MDE. Then go to profile, about me and someweres there's an option to link the new APs (the plastic cards with a 10 digit code on the back) and DVC. Trying to give you the exact place but my 4g is being meanie!!

We spoke to a CM today who actually listed what hotels were being tested for September. They are as follows:
Pop Century
Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo only)
Yacht Club
Beach Club
Art of Animation
Polynesian
Contemporary
Port Orleans Riverside

She said she literally just got the list today and when asked if more hotels would come online in September she did not sound hopeful.

So I guess that is that.

you think they will roll out the magic bands i am staying at the contemporary i already have my fp+ selections still sitting at 28 days out though waiting to see if i get to pick my magic bands ?

Yeah, I guess I don't know how to convey my question....

In an ideal world, as we've seen with the August test, FP+ users would be able to insert their KTTW card into FP machines to get those as well. I assume, though, that Disney will soon disable this double-dipping.

In that world where it's one or the other, is there a way to ensure that I'm in the regular FP side of things? Or basically, is it that if I am staying in one of the hotels activated for September and I have access to FP+ selections, I'm basically locked into the FP+ side of things and thus might as well make selections?

In other words, is there an opt-out mechanism that I forfeit by making FP+ selections?

During the test you can use your Key Card for regular FastPasses and your band for FastPass +. Scheduling FastPass + should not in any way interfere with your Key Card being used for old school FP machines. This however is subject to change as they are only allowing it because it is in testing. When Fastpass+ and magic bands launch I have no idea how it will work.

Go on the site. I couldn't do much through the app. On the site is how I got them customized. I freaked out yesterday before I got the package that they would be grey because they show that way on the app.

Hey Instagram buddy! I think that the bands are coming online bit by bit each day. I suspect this is so they don't have to ship bands for all of these hotels at the same time. For example some people who could register FP+ yesterday but no bands started getting bands today. I suspect it will continue to happen every night around the same time. (about 9:30 pm EST two days in a row can't be coincidence).

When you guys are booking your ghost reservation and saying once you have the Magic Bands and FP+ you have access to all days.

Well, we are at AOA 9/26-9/28. Prior to that we are at AKL Kidani. We can only book FP+ for 9/26 forward. No choice for a MB yet, just FP+ access. How are you guys getting to make FP+ for so many days? If it matter my ticket linked is an annual pass.

ohh hey i see your point hopefully the cycle does continue like that and we would all get our bands i still have plenty of time to see if i can get the magic bands.

FP+ just became active for me today. Waiting to see if we'll get MBs. Our APs were linked to My Disney Experience already ( just appeared there--I never linked them). Anyone know if I have to do Online Check In to qualify for Magic Bands? We're staying club level so I wasn't planning on doing the early check in, but I will if it will get us the bands. Thanks!

The problem is I purchased the annual passes online but haven't used them yet. Will do in September. Is there any way to link them? Even though I don't have the actual card??
