Any rumors for the next WDW DVC expansion?

I would love to see a Polynesian or Grand Floridian expansion for DVC.

Those are two are my favorite non-dvc WDW properties.

Does anyone know if they are planning on building a new one WDW?

Look for a Tree House Villa style expansion of VWL. Separate cabins that will allow them to sell more memberships at VWL.

There is only so much water view available.

I could believe full size grand-villa homes (like the vb beach homes? would make a nice compliment to a VWL that currently has no GV category. And add additional summer demand. If they combined that with an extension to 2062 (50 years from cabin start date) it could be a good money maker for DVC.

I think THv was more about what environmental laws allowed ve the most that DVC wanted. They had to pull every trick in the book (I.e. prefab) to make a 2br equivalent economically possible. I'm sure they would of preferred a GV.

The trick there is that VWL itself is rather small. If they expanded into cabins alone, people buying those points would also be booking studios, 1BRs, etc., in the existing building, creating a challenging situation for current owners.
