Any rumors about Mama Melrose closing?

Even though there has been no definite announcements yet, I have been pretty worried about what is going to happen to that area in the future. Therefore, I made sure to book a Mama Melrose ADR several months ago for our upcoming September trip. Will also make Muppets 3D and Indiana Jones priorities, being as they both are constantly in the rumor mills as potential casualties.

I would think Muppets is safer than Indiana Jones but anything can happen at this point.

Just two days ago, before I saw this thread, I made a reservation for dinner at Mama Melrose for January 20 so I am assuming it will still be there and open.

Wow...I missed a lot of conversation on my post for some reason. Stopped getting notifications via email. Anyways, was not trying to start a rumor...merely asked a question as I was unable to secure any reservations for next year. Since all other restaurants were available, it seemed a reasonable question. I have since been able to get a reservation for the day I wanted in January, so I guess they opened up more. Still haven't seen any Fantasmic pkgs open up for those dates, but at least I have a regular ressie secured. Will keep watching for the packages to be added. I am very hopeful that MM doesn't go away as it is our favorite table service in a park that is already short on good food options!

I've been checking daily and today was the first day I was able to book 1/4 for a F! package at MM. Looks like they're adding dates little by little so keep trying!

The Fantasmic packages often aren't available as far in advance as regular reservations. I think it has to do with the way Fantasmic scheduling itself gets moved around. Last December we could only get a lunchtime slot at Mamma Melroses.
