Are there any room only rates for December at all?

Not unless you have AAA or an Annual Pass and even with the annual pass its for stays checking in around Christmas and later.

I know this sounds stupid but since I am a novice on his board I must ask - how does one get a BRP discount??? Or how do I obtain these rates??

You have to have an annual pass, there has to be availability and can only be booked between 60 and 120 days out.
