I am from central Ga. There is a massive amount of road construction on I-75 starting just south of Cordele Ga. They are widening the interstate to include more lanes as you move south. Ga. DOT is being very efficient and smooth thus far with the construction. They try to work at night during peak travel periods. Even then the lanes move well. Last time I went that far south was a few months ago and they were steadily busy on the work. They have been at this task for a while now and are moving the project in stages all the way to the Florida line.
