Are any of the rides at DLP the same as at WDW?

I know some are not as I have seen on Youtube. I have 1 day there and would rather see rides that are different than what I have done already.

Thank you.

Peter Pan is much and such the same as is the tea cups, Small World, Star Tours, Dumbo, Rockets.

The ones I would do are BTM, Phantom Manor, POTC, Space Mountain and Buzz as I think DLP has the better versions and you must take time to explore the castle too ;)

Thank you. I certainly will.

Well, virtually every attraction is better at DLP than WDW.

Do not miss:

Phantom Manor
BTMRR
Pirates of the Caribbean (see a proper version - WDW's is the worst version on the planet).
It's a Small World is significantly better than WDW's and has an America room (do not miss if you are a Disney fan).
Alice's Curious Labrynth, Aladdin's Passage, the Nautilus and the castle walk through with the Dragon are unique to DLP. Explore Adventure Isle
Space Mountain is a must

Also others new to you if you have not been to DL in California are Pinocchio, Casey Jr and Storybookland Canal boats. Also unique to DLP and TDS is Indy, but skip it unless you have done everything else.

Enjoy the different snacks - popcorn has sugar, not salt. The waffles are great too.

Have fun. Personally I have been spoilt by DLP and always get grumpy at the MK as it is not as good as DLP, so we just do the attractions unique to WDW and then leave. Once you experience SM, PotC and IASW at DLP, you may never see WDW in the same light again.

As for Buzz, it is better in terms of how the guns work, but it is not that different than WDW's (the differences in IASW are far greater).

Good info on here so far!:thumbsup2
I would say if they are running try the Keel boats in frontierland. They aren't on the map and are not really signposted either but ask a CM in Frontierland and they will point the way. Pocahontas Playground is worth a look around too if you're into the themeing and details.

and I recommend the Guided Tour of the Disneyland Park if you have time.

Thank you for the input.
The popcorn sounds interesting.
I have written down what you said.
Thanks.

I agree, and to me Cinemagique is a must in the Studios and unique to DLP (I had assumed the Studios were not included in your plans). Also, Stitch Live is very clever (though similar to Turtle Talk) and if you like attractions like Twister at Universal Orlando, Armageddon is fun (though I am in the minority in liking this).

I kind of disagree: ToT at WDW is better. Not only is the building prettier, there is the aspect of the "box" going from the show-elevator to the drop-elevator, and the ad random drops, whereas at Paris it's the same elevator and always the same drop-sequence.

It's all subjective really. For me, I prefer DLP's s I think the 5th dimension room in WDW is clunky, and I love the mirror scene in WDS/DCA. Then add the fantastic view of DLP compared to the not so nice views in WDW. I also prefer our building and boiler room in paris.

I would love to but not sure if I can squeeze both in one day.

Hmm, I might have to try these. I think I might work on my group to stay overnight.

I TOT at WDW. If i go there I will ride it. Just not sure if I am doing Studios yet or not. I checked the prices and they are really high. I would love to stay overnight but we shall see.
