Hello everyone,

I was thinking about going to The Wave Resturant at the Contemporary Hotel.
Does anyone have any reviews about this resturant? Any good?
Is California Grill much better (I have been there)?

Thanks for any info!

we personally were not all that impressed with Cali Grille, given the cost we didn't think the food was worth double the other restaurants (we were on the DDP, so it was 2 TS credits.) And given the lack of view when we were there (they actually had the blinds down so lovely view was totally obstructed) What's the point of paying for the view when you can't see anything?

I completely agree with you on Cali grill. Kids were running around screaming and we didn't have a great view either. I thought it was going to be a nice quite..well quiter meal that was a little more upscale.

Thanks for the link

Same here. I prefer the Wave over Cali Grill. Not only does the Wave serve world flavors and original cocktails, they also offer lots of healthful choices!

I agree with previous posters. We just got back from CR. On Friday my in-laws took the kids to The Wave while DW and I went to the Cal Grille. My in-laws raved about the Wave. They said the steak was fantastic. DW and I were not impressed with the Grill. We had a 7:55 ADR and it was too loud, food was okay not great and it was way too expensive for what we got. That being said, it was nice seeing the fireworks from the roof deck just not worth the price of admission.

:worship: Thank you so much for the links with your reviews. I think I am going to make a reservation to eat dinner there. Again, thanks!

Count us in as those who do not believe Cali Grill to be worth the price and have no desire to return.

We have ADR's at The Wave next month.

DS (19) and I ate dinner at The Wave in December. The food and atmosphere is fantastic! He had the lamb (first time eating lamb) and I had the sustainable fish. I read a lot about the desserts, but to us the main courses were what would bring us back again.
