I have a lot of old cameras and cell phones around the house and I was thinking of trying to recycle them through www.gazelle.com. Has anyone here used them? Was it worth it?

I've used it on several occasions and have had good luck. If they revise the price on you (from the original quote) they will send you a e-mail with the option of returning the device back to you (at their cost).
Could I have gotten more money else where? Yes, by far... I think if I wanted to spend the time and effort in selling the devices myself on Craigslist or eBay I very well could have gotten a few more dollars but for the convenience and everything else I couldn't beat it.
I agree - I've used it 2x - to sell a Kindle and to sell our old iPhones when we upgraded. They are easy to work with and send the money fairly quickly. As the PP said, you could get more $$ if you sold things on ebay or Craig's List - but I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle.
At this point, I'm more interested in just clearing some clutter from my house. Any money I got in the process would just be a bonus! Glad to hear the positive reviews!
Do NOT use cell4cash.com. I'd read good reviews here of gazelle and went with cell4cash because they listed a higher amount...they stalled and stalled...finally I threatened to contact the sheriff of their county because I read on other message boards that people had had luck going that route. I made the threat and magically the check appeared in the mail.
