Does anybody know if any of DLs restaurants are open during MM. I am looking for an early breakfast, and hoping that something will be open that early.
TIA!!

I think there are, but it's a serious waste of the MM hour. If you're not going to ride the rides in that one hour, might as well sleep in a bit later and snag something on the way to the parks.

I agree with Bumbershoot; if you're up early enough to take advantage of MM, you won't want to waste it eating. That's prime time for walking right onto rides that will have hourlong waits later in the day.

I like how Ridemax tips section puts it: "Breakfast? What breakfast?!"

"Regarding breakfast, since arriving early in the morning is such a key to beating the crowds, our preference is to grab a quick bite to eat at the hotel, rather than waiting to eat at the park. Later in the morning we can then take our time eating an early and leisurely lunch, when the park is more crowded and the timing for riding attractions isn't so critical.

"If you do decide to eat breakfast in the park, be forewarned: you could face a substantial wait just to order your meal. Consider the picture below, taken during the holiday season on a Saturday morning at 9:20AM. Do you see the line which begins in the lower-right-hand corner of the picture? That isn't the line for Pirates of the Caribbean, it's the line to eat breakfast at the River Belle Terrace restaurant, which we estimate was already 40 minutes long!

"Despite our warnings to the contrary, should you find yourself wishing to eat breakfast in the park, the lines in the Tomorrowland Terrace area should be shorter than those shown above, and during less-busy seasons of the year the breakfast lines also won't be as bad. Just be aware that even if your wait is minimal, eating breakfast in the park will still use up a good chunk of your valuable early morning time, when the lines for the attractions are at their shortest. "

On a side note, we like to keep breakfast items in our hotel room; grabbing fruit, granola bars, milk, juice, poptarts, etc. and sometimes eating them while standing in line at the gates for MM. Have just enough to tide you over. Then you can make PS reservations for a late breakfast/brunch at 10:30 or 11 a.m. at Carnation Cafe or Plaza Inn, or something like that.

Ok where are the breakfast items. I don't see Diet Coke, Nabs, or little chocolate doughnuts. :confused3 Well, maybe poptarts.:rolleyes1

Ok, DonaldTDuck, what the heck are Nabs? I've seen references to them from Southern writers, but never figured out what they are?

I had a friend from Kentucky who drank Dr. Pepper for breakfast. Bleah. :lmao: Now, little chocolate doughnuts are a breakfast food I could seriously embrace!

Hi Gail...this is what my DH called Nabs...single wraped peanut butter or cheese crackers (brand of choice Nabisco)...and a Royal Crown (RC Cola)... I'm not sure if different regions have different "Nabs"...JC

We like to spend a couple good hours of MM hitting the rides and then starting our fastpass collection. Then when lots more people start invading, we take our first break of the day by having a breakfast from tomorrowland terrace. It always works out really well for us and has turned into a bit of a tradition. :)

:goodvibes Thanks, JC! So that's what they are! Snack cracker packets. I thought maybe it was something having to do with Nabisco.

Huh. Nabs. Not just for breakfast any more? :rotfl:

This was exactly what I was hoping to hear!!! Thanks!!
Our plan is to do fresh fruit, poptarts, and at the request of DS4 crossaint sandwichs in the microwave while walking to the park and/or waiting at the gate. DH and I can wait until after the first hour (MM) is over to grab a bite, although very possible we wont need it if we do the little crosswichs. The kids should be plenty satisfied off the snacks we packed, myself more than likey, but DH on the other hand....

I wonder if this could be timed to coincide with the first Jedi Warrior training presentation? That would be a great way to have a brunch with a floor show? (& would be cheaper & quicker than a character bfast.) :thumbsup2

And it's such a coooool show! We had the best time watching that show. It also helped that our 12 year old was participating, but it would have been cool any way.
