Has anyone stayed in Room 6608? It is a Cat 6. It is above the theater but can you hear the noise from the movies in the room?
Thanks.

I haven't been in 6608. but we did stay just a few doors down in 6600 and 6602. We had no problems with noise at all. It was a great location!

We were in that area also and could not hear any noise from the Theater.

Great location. Near the laundry room too and the stairs.

I just kept getting confused on what side of the ship we were on. - Kept walking down the port side. :rotfl:

I was in 6608...no noise at all..didn't even notice we were over anything! The lock to the verandah was broke when we were in there and we had to leave it unlocked or else call them to open it with a screwdriver but other than that it was great LOL! I am sure that is fixed by now (10 months later!)

We just got off the Magic on Saturday and were in room 6608. The lock is still broken for the sliding door, but we just kept it unlocked. Didn't realize it had been an ongoing problem.

We could occasionally hear the cannons going off during Pirates of the Caribbean which was playing in the theater. It was not enough to bother us at all. I would book this cabin again.

I was in 6610 on the Magic. I did hear the theater a lot -- sounded like a band was playing down there. I would stay aft, but move to the port side. Those rooms are over the hallway and bathrooms.

.

Are you serious LOL??? We cruised last May and that is when it was broken! We also just kept it unlocked once they had to come twice with screwdrivers and open it for us LOL. My daughter never would go out there on her own so I wasn't really worried about it.

Since my daughter is 14, it wasn't really an issue for us. I didn't even think about reporting the problem with the door. Maybe they will fix it in drydock. :)

I can't believe that lock is STILL broken :rotfl2: The room was great except for that! No noise and there was plenty of room for 2 women and 2 girls in that cabin :flower:

All- Thanks for the feedback on the room. We are on a west coast cruise this summer and there is probably no chance to change rooms so I'm relieved that most folks weren't bothered by the theater noise. I'm also in disbelief that the lock problem has gone unfixed for almost a year now. While our kids are old enough to keep out of trouble, I'd certainly feel much better if I knew the lock worked.

That's the room we are booked in for this years Halloween cruise. Hopefully they'll have it fixed by then.
