Any reports on last minute TS ADRs?

We have just decided to tour DHS on our arrival day next week. We were planning on hanging out at the resort and having a room service pizza, but now that we will be in the Studios, I think we would like an ADR there. However, I know the table-service places are crazy crowded with free dining! Anybody have a feeling for the chances of getting a decent ADR time at any restaurant? Or should we just try our luck as walk-ups?

i would definitely try to get an ADR... you might also want to check out the sept adr trade thread as you may find what you're looking for there

this past week, there was no openings anywheres......we even walked up just in case someone cancelled.....everyplace was booked solid ......call and keep on calling.....hope you have more luck then we did...although we did not starve....

Naturally I would call first and if no luck I would try for a walk up. But if you do a walk up I would do it when they first open or be prepared to wait an 1 or 2. When I was there 2 weeks ago I seen them tell people in a couple of resturants that with no ress that would be there wait time and in 2 resturants they turned people away.

Good advice everybody, thanks! Just got off the phone...we did get Brown Derby for 7:20 pm. The only other slot open was around 3:00 pm. Mama Melrose, our other preference, was totally booked. Thanks again!
