My brother and his family just returned. I had told them about Josh on Easy WDW reporting that people were being let in earlier than 7:00. So, he and his family arrived at 6:15am were in shortly after 6:20am I believe. They only opened up TSL at 6:20am ish (not any other part of the park). They rode Slinky Dog and did a meet and greet and Alien ride easily. I think they did the Alien ride twice - all of this in about an hour or so. This is our plan when we go August 10th. I'm hoping to get there early and get a couple of quick rides, although we did get a Slinky dog FP for one day of our trip. He said it was painless - not many people there before 6:15am, so not a huge crowd to contend with ... but l'm sure it got much busier.

I am going to HS on the 13th and I am also planning to get there around 6:15 am as per Josh's reports. Looks like it was an easy morning for him.

Thanks so much for this info....did your brother use Disney transportation for this. We are staying at the Beach Club (and I know we could walk, but it is HOT :>)?

There 2 weeks ago. Arrived at the park at 6:30 and headed straight back to TSL. Had about a 15 minute wait for Slinky Dog but I spent that time checking out the theming. Great.

Yes, they took a bus from Art of Animation. The buses (as Josh's Easy WDW report stated) start at 5:30am for DHS. Hope they keep this going!

This morning we’re still being held at the rope at 6:46. My family is less than pleased with me

Does this later entry time mean getting there a little later is safe, or is it still best to aim for 6:15 or so?

On Josh's forum, people are reporting that they are being let in closer to 7:00 now. Let us know how your morning goes @bethbuchall
The morning still went really well once I told them to put their patient pants on. We were let in not long after my post. We rode SDD with about a 5-minute wait. Swirling Saucers was a walk-on. Toy Story Mania was also a walk-on and we did that three times. Then we headed to Tower of Terror (about 8:00am) and did that twice with no wait. RnR was posted at 25 minutes, but they were having some problems, and we waited about 45 minutes.

Did you find there to be many people who arrived after you between 6:15-6:45, or do you think it would be ok to get there a bit later?

They let us in at 6:45am on Friday. Got Slinky, AS2, and TSM done in 30 minutes. We had the entire park done (including breakfast at Woody's Lunch Box) by 8:30.

OK, so maybe I don't have to get my family to the bus stop til 6 am, rather than 5:30 next week.

This would be my DREAM MORNING! I can only hope they keep the 7am openings in September. I know its wishful thinking but my fingers are crossed pixiedust:

I did this three weeks ago, which is a little out of date now I guess. But I got to the bus stop at Coronado Springs at 5:55; the bus was pulling up as I arrived, and I was first in line at a tapstile at 6:11.

Back then, they let us in up to Sunset Blvd at 6:15, and everyone went on up to TSL at 6:30. I stayed behind because I had a later FP and just wanted to wander and have coffee in an empty park!
