I am looking for one for my nephew for Christmas. I originally bought the Craig one that Toys r us had a coupon for and now I don't think it will work with my brother's mac computer. I think the sandisk are compatible, but they are sold out everywhere.

Help!

What is your price range? The iPod shuffle is $99. It will work with his Mac for sure ;)

Most Mp3 players will work on a Mac. It is the music sites that don't work with Mac's for the most part. But why would anyone want to use anything other than iTunes?

Suz,
I got a sandisk from Staples. I got the 1 GB that is sold there for $129. They matched Circuit city price on Black Friday plus gave me 10% more off so I paid $63, $67 with tax. Then they gave me a $25 rebate form.
Check out the smaller or less busy Staples. I don't know where you live but there is one in Shelton near Walmart that hardly anyone ever goes to. They mostly do business with the companies that are in the area like Tetley and Sikorsky. I never see shoppers in that store like I do in the Fairfield store.
Also, if you are thinking of changing your bank..
Chase is running a promotion now that if you open a checking account with direct deposit they are giving an Ipod nano.
If you open an account with direct deposit and bill paying they will give you an Ipod shuffle.
I am opening my account tomorrow on my day off and will give the Ipod to my nephew for Christmas. Peggie

Are you SURE that the Craig won't work with the Mac? I would double check before you buy something else!! I bought the MPIO from Sears for $39.99 (was $79.99 originally). Last I knew it was still on clearance.

I also got the Craig from TRU the other day for that cheap price and let me tell you - the MPIO is FAR better than the Craig one. I couldn't believe the difference once I worked with each of them. Check Sears online first and maybe try to get one there, last I saw they came in pink and blue. Good luck!!

Can you describe the MPIO one from Sears a little more. I tried to search for that on the Sears site and couldn't find it.

Toys r us has them on sale %50 off this week. I just picked one up for one of my kids for $35

I would also be interested in more info on the Sears model. Do you know if it's MAc compatible?

Thanks

Thanks for the head up about TRU....are the Sandisk that good...maybe I should check into those as well.
