Any recent thoughts on BW in DTD

I still have time to look for deals & search around but any recent reviews & thoughts about the Best Western In DTD. We maybe planning a trip which will include all the Orlando parks & one day at Legoland for June 2012. We would like to stay closer to the LBV area just because we are more comfortable there. We are WDW vets & stay on-site for all our long trips but this will be an Orlando trip. I like the idea of one of the DTD hotels. That is why I am asking about the BW plus I know I have seen it for $69. Yes I belong to mousesavers.

I have not stayed at the BW LBV. It is hard to get a good idea from the reviews you get though. They are all over the place. Some say neat and clean, some report mold smell.
I would love to stay there in Feb, because of the great price and location, but because of the bad reviews I have read...I am unsure.

My same thoughts too. I liked the advance price I was pulling up & I was excited to get a price under $100 at DTD Disney hotel because we still have our feel of being on Disney property even if the Best Western is maybe the oldest plain hotel on the Blvd. I "Liked" them on Facebook. They have a few interior shots & one is a really nice one of the hallway with the statement of it being newly renovated & some room photos also mentioning of renovations. So I did post a question asking if the room have been renovated recently. So we will see if they reply back. I will keep you posted.
