Any Recent Reports on AKL???

we just got back from akl (they said we could have moved to sss but I am glad we satyed (9-12- 915) I booked a standard...we ended up in a savanna room and it was one of my best trips...the hotel is great.I did not hear anything i shouldnt have,and the beds were the most comfy!!!The only thing I did not like was the food...I must be the only person that does not like boma...I like all kinds of food but it was not for us at all...

Glad you had a good time, Wendi. Looks like your trip was just you and your son. This upcoming trip is just me and my 2 youngest kids. This will be our first time at AKL. I booked a pool view room. I never get any luck with upgrades...lol.

When do they offer all of these activities at the AKL? We're getting in late on our arrival day and need to find something to do at the resort.

Yep, just me and Max. You might get lucky and get an upgrade, AKL seems to be pretty generous with their upgrades. How late are you getting in? There is a kid's parade from the Zawadi Marketplace at 7:50pm each night, the kids get to grab instruments and parade around making lots of noise!!!

Enjoying reading all of these comments. Me and my DH will be visiting AKL for the first time Dec 10-15. I was a little concerned about the construction, but I won't worry about it too much.

Thanks for the updates. We are leaving in 19 days and it our first time at AKL. We only have a standard view booked as they said it was all that was available, hoping for an upgrade to a room with bunkbeds, but never seem to have that kind of luck.

I actually have a poll going on this forum right now and far more people have responded that they've gotten upgrades than those who have gotten what they paid for... sweet!
