Any recent opinions on Marrakesh?

First time I've posted this, but two years ago we went Christmas Day - didn't really enjoy it - can't even pinpont why but then the entire family went down with the "flu" one by one we fell which spoiled the rest of our trip. DS12 ended up "borrowing" the ice bucket from the room to use on our trip home (I don't think you need the visual, but his evil sister took some pics). Needless to say - it's now a big skip in our ADR's. That said, it could have been anything, but that is what sticks in our mind. I would not have wanted to be the person who inherited our room at the BC. I sure hope they shampooed the rug.....

I have to add, that this is the first time, and hopefully the last that we have anything like that happen at DW and we always stay and eat onsite.

Haven't been recently, but my family went on our last trip in '07, and we loved it ! My 16 yo DS was in love with the belly dancer. And my 10 yo DD was the first one asked to come up and dance. And the food and the service were excellent. We will return on our next trip. Good luck.

We just went this past May and the food was fabulous! Service was good too. The boys thought the belly dancer was hot too. My trip report (link below) has some photos- just check the index on the first page for the link. DH is a foodie and would totally go back.
