Just wondering if there are any very recent jungle book alive reviews now that show has been running for a month? We have FP for the 9pm show on July 13 and after reading early reviews we thought about skipping it. So I was just wondering if the reviews are any better now? Thanks

I didn't stay for the show but I did pass by it the other night.. the show appeared to be the same from what I hear/saw from the path but one big change is waiting for it they now have a dj playing indian inspired music and a couple people who interacted with the crowds before it starts. They do a setup for what your about to watch now, let you know where the singers will be standing..

The do have a much better handle on the lines to wait now. standby no longer wraps aroudn dinoland and they use the side path near the dino dig now. fastpass plus doesn't start back at kali and it starts near the bar at EE.

I saw it opening night and it wasn't great but it wasn't horrible once I knew that it was live music and singers and I found them to try to watch. It's not a stand in line for hours show to see but it's not a waste of time to come in last second on a fastpass+ or maybe get the dining package at tiffins (if it's going to be a discount for the food, I saved $50 and i've booked the package again just to get a food discount and gave away the passes to someone in standby).

In short, if you can use a dining package to save money on food or it doens't cost more to get the dining package or you can get a fastpass+ and jump in line at the last moment it's worth your time to see it and decide for yourself. Sit in the back in case you want to leave early, it's hard to walk past others to leave the theater is horrible seating. If you have to wait in standby I would recommend skipping it and watch it from the bridge between nemo and EE to get a feel for what the show is. There is also a spot between the EE bar and the restrooms that you can see a good amount of the fastpass+ side stage. There is also an ice cream truck and some rocks to sit down and take a break :) when you hate it, EE will also be almost a walk on and it'll be darker and your right next to it. if you like it, you can decide if it's worth getting in standby for the second show.

Okay thanks for the info. We have fast passes and we will definitely seat at the back incase we need to skip out.

Swap your FP+ for something else, you won't really need it for Jungle Book. It gets crowded, but as long as you're there 15 minutes before show time, you'll get in. For my family, if we had to rate it 1-10 scale, it's a 5. It's not bad, but not anything spectacular.

We saw the show twice, once the first night and then again the Wednesday after. Enjoyed it much more the second time. I think the first time we were waiting for something more. While I agree to sitting in the back if you want to leave early, the seating is so bad that I would recommend sitting close to the front. The rows are not inclined enough that if you sit toward the back you will miss the dancing in the front. I also did not realize the people on the floats were actually singing, we really could not see them to well.

We did the show this week with the Tiffins dining package. We wanted to eat at Tiffins, and as a previous poster stated, you can actually save money on the dining package depending on what you want to order. The Tiffins meal was very good, however not the best signature on property. We got to the dining package viewing area about 25 minutes before show time. There were no issues with lines or seating. We sat on the highest stone row, and I thought the view was great. There were people rushing down trying to be on the front row, but I don't think this is a show you want to be on the front row for. A lot of the action takes place higher up, and you would not be able to see everything on the front row.

There were CMs interacting with the crowd before the show, and explaining the story of the Jungle Book. I think you will enjoy the show much more if you have seen the movie. We had seen it, and were able to follow along with the story. We thought it was a great show. The water screens are working well now. There was not an issue with there being a gap in the projections. The performers were good, but we primarily focused on the story being told on the water screens. I think it is probably better now than when it first started and I would recommend seeing it, especially if you are a fan of the movie.
