Any Recent Experience At Monsieur Paul?

On one of our lazy days, DH & I want to sleep in and head to Epcot late afternoon this October to experience another night of WS and Illuminations. It'll be a Thursday, so hopefully not too crazy from F&W. I know good places are close outside the park, but I don't want the added transport time. After reading, Le Ceiller (?) and Chef De France seem louder and more crowded. And Le Ceiller doesn't have a time I want. I booked Monsieur Paul. DD is 14 so I think she's old enough to enjoy (or at least tolerate) the different experience and pallet. Has anyone been lately? It's difficult to find mention of this place. I know pricey. We're on the DP and I know 2 credits. We're already doing Biergarten one night, DH won't appreciate Moroccan food, and none of the others in the park catch my fancy (I'm sure all in the WS are good, but we experience food like that at home). Mind sharing your experience and any dishes you enjoyed?

We will be eating there Aug 15 for my bday. I will post a review!

We went in March and became an instant fan. We also ate at Le Cellier the same trip and were very disappointed. The Monsieur Paul filet was one of the best I've ever had but was $2 less than Le Cellier. The le Cellier steak was smaller, tough, and a run-of-the-mill steakhouse steak. The dessert choices at Monsieur Paul were artistic creations, too. There were families that seemed comfortable there, too.

I don't think you will be disappointed!

Thank you!! The filet is what I had my eye on for DH. And thank you for sharing about families there too! While DH and I def want a good dinner, we want to be mindful of DD's happiness too.

I see that the pre fix meal has an upcharge. If you do not choose the pre fix, is there an upcharge? Do you still get the entree, dessert and drink? I have never seen an upcharge when you are already using 2 DDP credits. That seems an awful steep of an upcharge to just get an appetizer. Maybe I am missing something? :confused3
