Would love to hear about your dining experiences in the International
Drive area. We are staying there next month following a cruise.
Thanks.

My kids love Sizzler-especially DS10!

We don't have them in Texas, so we eat there every trip.

Just basic buffet food, but it's cheap and fast:D

Our favorite on I-Drive is Bahama Breeze. It has a great laid back feel and the food is wonderful. Our favorites were the Bahamian Conch Chowder and the Cuban Classic, a grilled sandwich on Cuban bread.

Dan.

Thanks for your reply, laid back would be great after being on
a cruise! J.

I-Drive has more restaurants than you can imagine.

Our favorites are Bahama Breeze, Chuck E Cheese (my son's), Red Lobster, and Pizzeria Uno, all tried and true!

Bahama Breeze for sure. Don't miss it if there is not one in your area. We really enjoyed Dan Marino's Town Tavern at Pointe Orlando. It is a more upscale Sports Bar atmosphere. Still laidback for sure. We were in there for a late dinner one night and had great service and food. Also try the new Olive Garden on I-Drive. I believe it is a little different than the standard ones. I am not sure, though.

Hi. We'll be staying at the Calypso Cay Amerisuites in March. Where is the new Olive Garden please? Thanks!

We really enjoyed Don Pablo's and also a ribs place whose name escapes me right now.

I think we also ate at a Golden Corral just off I-Drive a couple of times. They have a good lunch buffet.

Be sure to pick up one of the many coupon books. We used one almost every time we ate.

I didn't read down before I posted my thread about Dan Marino's place. For anyone who has been there is it worth the expense? Any celebs or football types? My husband and DS (10) and huge dolphin fans and I was thinking of surprising them to go there.

We were in Dan Marino's late one night. It was not very crowded at all. In fact, I believe it was Cinco de Mayo and there was a big party going on at one of the other bars at Pointe Orlando. The food and service were very good.
The Olive Garden that I am referring to is on International Drive. I believe it is on the left before you get to Race Rock Cafe. I think it is called the Olive Garden Tuscan Oven. I do not know what is different about it. I will have to double check with my husband. I could be all wrong and look like an idiot. I do know that it is a fairly new one, though.
Race Rock was a neat restaurant with the race cars and truck everywhere. Food was good, not great. They have lots of racing games to play and the giant BIG FOOT monster truck parked around back. I love to get pictures of my little ones standing in the tire.

i would recommend tgi fridays on idrive the food was really nice, good service and there is an arcade in there with pool table's and air hockey ect, so this keeps the kids happy after dinner for a little while, there is also loads of tv screens with all sorts of sports on all in all a great atmosphere.

I noticed that someone said that they went to the golden coral for their buffet. They also have a breakfast buffet, is it every day of the week, or is the breakfast only offered on the weekend like ours is here up north??? Also can you tell me how much it costs??? We are going to be there in April, and we are on a budget. Thank you everyone!!

Another vote for Bahama Breeze! This was a very pleasant surprise for my wife and I. Excellent food!!

TuTu Tango is a great place to eat!!! They serve awesome appetizers...that is all they serve. Also they have artists painting and sculpting etc in the restuarant while you eat...very fun and different!!!

We loved Tony Romas. Excellent BBQ ribs, chicken, burgers, corn on the cob kind of place and nice atmosphere. Selections are plenty.

We really like Ran-Getsu. You can see there menu online at http://www.rangetsu.com/

We have eaten there twice. They have been voted 4th best Japanese restaurant in the country by the Zagat survey. They have a wonderful atmosphere and good food. The also have some really good fruity drinks! One of the things I found the most interesting/unusual about them being an oriental restaurant is that you get mashed potatoes with certain entrees. On weekend nights they have a drum show that plays on a stage over the mini lake outside. The restaurant has a whole wall of windows so everyone can see them. and they also have a time when get all the children to come play some instruments. This might not be a restaurant for people on a tight budget.
