I will be staying on site for a few days over spring break. Is there any need for a theme park plan of attack? You know how you have a game plan when you go to WDW? Do you do this when you go to Universal? I've never been there before.
Get there early when the gate opens. Crowds are less and it's not so hot.
By 11am the sun is up, lots of people, and the express lines can have a wait of 20 minutes for some rides, like Hulk.
In the afternoon, go to the hotel, rest, then come back in the afternoon when the sun is going down and the tired are leaving.
During spring-break you may want to ride the "biggies" early, then just come & go leisurely. If at HRH, rent a cabana in the afternoon (heard all the pool lounges get taken early). Tip your server well so they'll "watch" your cabana while you go hit a ride or two again.
With the Express perk you'll do pretty well anyhow.
