any quiet pools at value resorts

MY DS 8 doesn't enjoy splashy jumpy kids so we always look for a quiet pool. With him we usually stay at Moderates. We are going on a larger family trip and to accomodate everyone's pocketbook we may need to go to a value resort. Does anyone know if there are quiet pools or if certain pools are less active than others from your experience?

The main pool at any resort is going to be the busiest. We stayed at ASMo in 2010, and the Mighty Duck pool was quieter than the main pool, but still busy. As far as i know, there is no designated quiet pool at the AS resorts. Lots of families stay at AS resorts, so any pool has the possibility of being loud and busy. Good luck!

I would just stay away from the pool nearest to all of the main buildings with the food court and arcade in them. They all have pools that are more towards the back of the resorts, head over to that one.

I also think a lot depends on time of year. For example, in August, I've never seen a pool that was quiet. When we stayed at POR, the "quiet" pool by our building was always mobbed and noisy as was the main pool. OTOH, when we stayed at Pop one February we were the only ones swimming in the Hippy Dippy Pool at one point and I'd never call that quiet normally.

Time of day also comes into play here as well.

AllStar Music has a quiet pool and it's supposed to be quiet since it's in the way back of the resort and it's got no bar,games, or spitting cabelroes.

It is not considered a quite pool BUT the main pool at POP is not at all noisey they have lieguards but even when they leave at nght it is quite. they also have two other pools and they never seem loud either.

We have never had a problem with the pool at ASMO Ds not a fan of having water splashed on him. I know someone is going to say if your in a pool getting wet who cares but he does. We try to take him toward the middle away from the large group of kids with out adult supervision , then we just swim one of us on each side. Good luck .
