Any quick ways to get shareholders card quicker?

Just in case anyone's interested, I received my confirmation email on April 13, and the temporary letter arrived a week later (I had asked them to send one when I applied).

My card hasn't arrived yet, but there's a fortnight to go before we travel, so I still have hope that I'll have it in my grubby paws to take with us. I just think it would be nicer to have the proper card, although I know the letter will do the job.

We are there for half term week too - see you in Salon Mickey!

Well I rang the shareholders club and got a lady who couldnt speak much english (my fault I suppose as I cant speak French) but she said she hadnt received the page with proof of my shares on... However I have proof in the fax report that it was sent. So Im confused. She said I can fax or email it to them... However I only got out of major surgery 3 weeks ago and cant walk to the nearest fax machine on my own and I dont know how to save the contract note from Halifax and email it to them. Does anyone know how to do this? In the meantime Iv emailed them asking them to look again but I had emailed them on Monday and they never replied...

I feel like its all going wrong now... :-(

Is it a hard copy/letter and do you have a scanner? You would probably need to scan in the document from Halifax and save it as a JPG or PDF to then attach to your email. Hope you get it sorted

Hi yes I have just managed to scan it and email it as a JPG however I sent an email on Monday and they never replied so I dont know how often they check there mail.

I also used a translator and explained the situation in French so I hope it makes sense to them lol...

Why does it always get difficult to me, I know they have received the halifax proof but someone's mislaid it!

quick question - has anyone who has recently faxed there things through, have you been charged the 30 euro's admin fee yet? as the money i put into my account to pay the 30 euro's is still there, they havent taken the money yet, and i got my temp card in the post today?
instead, Do i get charged when my proper card comes?
was only 5 shares i bought

I hadnt thought about this and looking at my account it isnt showing as coming out however I am with Halifax and my available balance is £60 lower than my cash balance so Im not sure if the E30 Euro's is included in this... Ill let you know tomorrow if my balance sorts itself out.

Also I was wondering I read somewhere to get into Salon Mickey you need proof that you are all in the same household, so what would you take with you? I havent got much showing the kids on it... Maybe a tax credits letter if Im lucky to root it out!

thats not required for Salon Mickey - proof of all at same address is needed if you are using the family discount for buying 5 annual passes at the same time.

As a shareholder, you can take 4 guests at a time with you into Salon Mickey if they are family, 3 guests if they are friends.

That's good to know about Salon Mickey. I was a bit worried about the address thing, because my mum is coming with us but she doesn't live with us.

So they'll just be happy that she's my mum, and not a random pensioner we picked up at Folkestone? I wouldn't know how to prove that we're related, having different names. We don't even look like each other

they won't even ask - my niece looks nothing like me, doesn't live in the same town as me, and has a different name. We've taken her to Salon Mickey with no problem at all - basically as long as the numbers add up, you can go in .

My partner knows how bad I am for not reading into terms and conditions lol and I cant let him be proven right again! Being sat outside Legoland last August with BOGOF vouchers in the car park about to go into the park is not the best idea when reading the terms and conditins!!! 'BOGOF is not available in August'!

Iv checked my account again since its balanced itself out and no the E30 hasnt been taken out which is hard as I dont like cash sitting there without spending it! I wonder how long Im going to have to be very carefull???

When I renewed mine last year I got my new card & thought they forgot to charge it to my credit card, I was charged about 2-3 months after receiving my card
