I was reading a review at Tripadvisor and the person said, "...if you have a pool view window, go outside at your own risk because of these little tiny bugs called "no-see-ums" (pronounced NO-zee-ums)."
What is the latest on this?
Should we use bug repellent on the kids?
Avon's skin so soft ranked low in consumer reports june issue.
Consumer reports likes off deep woods but that contains 98% deet. That might be too much for kids although "epa has found deet safe..."

Sometimes I just get tired of smelling like that stuff, so here's what I do. I got a Lamp Berger, which is an oil burning lamp thing. They make knock offs now that aren't so expensive. I have the smell Vanilla n 3. I don't know what that little n is about, but I'm looking at the bottle and it's on there so I wanted you to know it's not some strange typo. Anyway, for some reason this scent really works keeping the skeeters and the noseeums off of ya. I burn mine on my patio. It works like a champ in small places like that. I was thinking in case you wanted to take one with you for your balcony in case you want to sit out there in the early morning or at night. Obviously won't work at the campfire or actually on the beach. But personally I like to sit outside after my nightime bath, but I get eaten alive and I don't want to spray more stuff on. So that's what I do. Good luck and have a great trip!
