I am a large woman and I am wondering if there are any problems fitting in rides at DL or DCA? I have no problems on any DW rides. I am redoing my eating habits, but will be going in November. Thanks for any help.

I was once a size 28 (now size 18) and never had any problem then or now. There are some rides where it is easier on you, if you pull the seatbelt up on the side, and then sit down and buckle, rather than just sitting and attempting to buckle. Those rides are:
Indiana Jones
Soarin'
Star Tours

Hi Sherry. I was at DLR this time last year and had no problem. I am a male, 6'1" with a 44 inch waist and 52 inch chest. Not sure how that would equate to a female size, but I didn't have a single problem on any ride there, and I rode all the E-ticket rides in both parks at least once. I was apprehensive, as just a few months earlier I had to get off a ride at Six Flags here, because a shoulder restraint wouldn't fit over my chest.

You shouldn't have a problem. I noticed that all the belts and restraints at Disney seemed to have room to spare for me. Tinagirls suggestion about loosening the belt all the way before you sit is a good one. That's what I do. Have a great trip :)

Thank you so much, I also had a problem at six flags this year. I love roller coasters, so that is what I am saying to myself when I want to eat something I shouldn't have. I say, "do I want to eat this or do I want to get back on the coasters?"lol

The only problem I saw for larger guests were the turnstyles entering some of the rides. They're very narrow, but larger guests got through o.k. by squeezing in sideways.

The only rides I've ever had problems on are the Matterhorn and Astro Orbitor when I tried to ride with another person. The cars are just too small for two adults when one is even slightly larger. When the CM asks how many are in your party just say the number, and let them know if you want to ride as a single. I've never had a problem riding as a single even if the ride can fit two.
